Iranian Ajax Job Hunts - Point Blank Head Shots Only

Ok, so I left my job at the bank some time ago due to a fall out with the Admin. over health benefits. I was their customer service rep handling calls and pulling credit reports and such. So I left.

Anyway, Ajax is back on the job market, and I will tell you - seriously man, it has been hard. But thanks to websites like Monster.com, applying is so damn easy. But that is not what I am going to talk about.

I am applying for jobs in a shitty economy. Prices are high, jobs are being lost, the dollar is coming down and it seems like gas prices are going up…it is actually the dollar falling. Thanks to Bush & Co. Don’t we have control of the EYEraqi oil fields? Shouldn’t we be paying like $0.01 per gallon now?

This economy sucks. My folks are so loving that they have ponied up the cash to finance my education and the bill this term is about $16,000.00. I can only imagine what I am going to pay for my kids…..but screw that. My kids are joining the US Military. That is for sure. No doubt. They will serve their country, the blessed United States of America.

But back to my point. This job hunting will be a long slog - employers are not hiring, profits are falling across the board. Do you remember last year this time when Wall Street was doling out bonuses in the $50million range? Goldman Sachs, Merril Lynch, Citibank, Chase, WaMu and all the other firms were giving out bonuses like cash was going out of style. Damn.

I don’t know if I will get hired. But here is my strategy on Monster.com: rapid fire and apply to anything and everything related to paralegals and law offices.

I need money, I need a career while I am going to school. I need a car and I need to get out of my parent’s house.
